INTRODUCING MILA.VERT MUSES: EXCEPTIONAL WOMEN WHO ARE AN ENDLESS SOURCE OF INSPIRATION TO US.
April is here and this means a weather challenge. April weather is famed for being moody and unstable – and for causing trouble to everyone deciding what to wear in the morning. Whether you rely on layering for rainy showers or for a single statement piece to see you through a sunny day, you can always count on our trusted sustainable essentials.
Our muses of April dressed for various occasions, all showcasing just how easy it is to look good in any situation. From artistic studios and cosy home-settings to sunlit streets, April’s muses seem to have been owning the month despite its everchanging weather forecasts. Meet them below.
Vanessa
"First piece from Mila.Vert and I'm in love! The quality is amazing and the fabric is so soft. Love that the dress comes with a waist belt which you can either wear on (for a more fitted look, cinched at the waist) or off (for a looser, more casual look). This is definitely a summer must-have!"
Vanessa, also known as @vvinthecity is a fashion creative based in Toronto, Canada. Her gorgeous feed is an interlacement of fashion and lifestyle photos in deep dark shades and light neutrals. The contrasts are striking and bring forward Vanessa’s impeccable style and outfit choices both in every single post. Vanessa is wearing our knitted boat neck dress.
Nikita
Nikita is a Copenhagen-based psychology and business economics student. On her Instagram feed @nikitaisabellas, Nikita showcases lifestyle shots and outfit ideas. We absolutely loved her styling of our shirt dress – she styled it with a pair of black loafers, a watch and dark sunglasses – proving just how simple it is to look effortlessly chic in our shirt dresses. Nikita is wearing our standing neckline shirt dress in sand.
Eleni
"I loved the design of this cardigan the moment I saw it in the shop but I just couldn't tell how soft it is until I received it. It's so soft and cushy and easy to wear that I honestly can't take it off me. Already one of my wardrobe staples!"
Eleni, who creates under the name @studioparadissi, is an artist based in Crete, Greece. Eleni uses calming neutrals to paint geometric shapes and reimagined everyday objects, that now take almost an abstract form. Her terrazzo-floored studio, white flowy curtains and dozens of her artworks provide endless inspiration for us daily. Eleni is wearing our knitted relief button-down cardigan.
Anja
"This shirt is an absolute dream. I love the color combination, the fit and most of all the quality. I think a stripped shirt is a classic piece, that you can wear practically anywhere. You can dress it up or dress it down and you will always look well dressed. I like to wear mine more casually. A few buttons undone, jeans or chinos, sandals and a basket bag. A perfect spring/summer outfit. If you’re in need of a new shirt, this is the one to buy."
Anja is a Slovenia-based event planner and an overall homedecor and fashion enthusiast. Her main Instagram account @anjagorjup is dedicated to lifestyle snaps including photos from her gorgeous home, outfit stylings and home decor inspiration in stunning predominantly white and beige shades.
