Mila.Vert Muses of January 2022

With the festive time behind us, we walked straight into the working new year. December already feels like it was ages ago, but the new challenges are taking none of our energy and enthusiasm away. Our muses of January radiate optimism too, and it’s so good to see them taking our pieces along to tackle whatever life throws at them.

This month, we’ve noted some powerful styles – the ones that boost your confidence with their simplicity. The outfits we find ourselves coming back to are the minimalist, straight forward ones: they work easily on their own, or they can be styled more sophisticatedly – it’s all up to you.

Discover our muses of January below.

Noa (@style.withasmile) is a vegan blogger and animal rights activist. Noa’s been our muse ever since we first met her at fair – and we couldn't be happier to have her wearing our pieces. Her #1 awarded vegan fashion blog Style with a Smile  treasures her relentless positive energy and passion for sustainability, veganism and innovations, and she also writes a newsletter. Noa is wearing our knitted honeycomb pullover in sand shade.

Vida & Marjanca

“Everybody needs a basic black pullover you can simply wear on its own or throw over a shirt or top when it gets cold outside - and this pullover is just what I was looking for. It's super soft and super warm, chunky but still elegant with its triangle knit. The unique triangle pattern is really what makes it stand out. The streetwear fit of the pullover is comfortably oversized and gender-neutral, so my male friends have been borrowing (stealing :)) it quite a lot now that the weather is getting colder. Overall this has definitely been an essential update to building my sustainable capsule wardrobe and I can't wait to wear it even more in winter.”

Vida (@vidajocif) and Marjanca (@marjancajocif) are sisters, nature-lovers, sustainable-living enthusiasts and our big supporters almost ever since Mila.Vert exists. Marjanca is a musician currently doing her recorder master’s degree in Finland while Vida studies art history and English in Ljubljana, Mila.Vert’s hometown. With her eye for details and great eloquence, Vida has been our copywriter for years now – and both sisters always love to test out our products, too, so they have become an irreplaceable part of our team. Vida and Marjanca are wearing our knitted triangle pullover.

Margot (@margot.guilbert) is a French fashion & lifestyle blogger, who also focuses on green beauty and low-waste living. With her partner Julián, Margot creates the Bloomers blog, where she writes about sustainable alternatives in fashion, beauty and home solutions. We introduced the lovely Margot in some of our previous editions of Mila.Vert Muses – this time, she’s wearing our organic cotton sweatshirt and track pants in rose pink shade.
