Mila.Vert Muses of September 2020

With the changing of the season, so changes what we wear – but not when it comes to our all time favourite pieces. Some of the pieces which have been receiving the most love from you are keeping us company all throughout the year. Whether we’re staying in our home-office environments or running errands, knitwear is once again the centre of attention – and with a good reason. Soft and cosy, it’s the knits that make the colder season that much more enjoyable – as you will see with our muses. Meet them below.

Muses - vegan blogger

“The best thing about this sweater is definitely the quality and the way it fits. It seems like one of those sweaters people used to wear before fast fashion. It has a very nice thick and soft material and even thought it's very simple and minimalist, I think it really shows the quality. It fits really beautifully and I love to pair mine with black skinny jeans. Perfect for layering and definitely a wardrobe essential. Everybody who's seen it complimented it. Absolutely worth the price! Also, finally someone made a warm, ethical and oversized vegan sweater!”

Irene (@irene.marceline) is an inspiring youtuber, Instagram content creator, antispeciesist vegan and intersectional feminist. Based between France and Italy, she creates content on the topics of minimalism, veganism, style and sustainability. Irene also included a review of our triangle pullover in her Autumn Capsule Wardrobe Youtube video – we can’t help but say it looks fantastic and you should definitely check it out. »The most beautiful dress in my dressing... Perfect in summer, perfect in autumn, in winter too... This dress looks like a mannequin, the finishes are perfect, the fabric is beautiful and the colour sublime.«

We already introduced Ophélie (@theaugustlion) in our August edition of Mila.Vert Muses, but this time she styled our dress accordingly to the season. The combination of our V-neck dress and long cardigan is still an unbeatable classic and just perfect for this time of the year. Ophélie is wearing our knitted V-neck dress and knitted relief long cardigan in sand colour.

Sustainable style blogger

“This dress is so beautiful and easy to style and the best is: it is so soft and cozy to wear! I’m 170cm and have it in size S.”

Elisabeth (@forstylewepray) is a Sweden-based instagrammer, centring her work around minimalist fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle. Her timelessly elegant stylings include an edge of power dressing which gets us every time, proving that strength and simplicity go hand in hand. Elisabeth is wearing our knitted boat neck dress in sand colour.

“The dress is incredibly comfortable, and the knit allows for a very beautiful flow and fit to the body. The cut and fabric worked particularly well with my petite physique, as it gives a taller slimmer look. I love combining the bag differently - as a belt, or a body side bag. I love that it's small enough that I can fit it with any outfit, but big enough to be able to carry all my essentials.”

Kristina (@klvsk) is a fashion professional in the field of creative consulting and sustainability, and an alumnus of London College of Fashion. She is ½ of onlyafew (, a consulting and representation agency for sustainable fashion brands, which successfully represented Mila.Vert at Revolver Trade Show in Copenhagen this summer, and keeps inspiring us with relentless energy and passion to bring conscious brands to a broader audience. Kristina is wearing our knitted boat neck dress in sand and waist bag in black colour.
